The app
ShotRecon is a ballistics app for shooters and hunters, on iPhone and Android. It gives you drop, wind and scope clicks for your gun and your ammo. We also make the ShotRecon device, a separate product coming in 2027. The app works on its own.
Yes, it is free to start. Free keeps one rifle and one loadout, with the full calculator, your exact reticle with the hold drawn on it, factory ammo, Zero my rifle, range cards and cloud backup. Pro is an optional upgrade.
Yes. Get ShotRecon in Google Play on Android now. The iPhone app is coming soon to the App Store. Get launch news to hear the day it is out.
Not yet. At launch, the app and Pro are sold in the United States only, in US dollars.
Yes. The calculator, your saved gear and Pro work offline. Live weather needs a signal. With no signal, type the weather in. You need a signal to sign in and to back up.
It is only as good as the numbers you give it. ShotRecon uses the G1 and G7 drag models, and we check the math against published ballistics tables. Your answer depends on your real muzzle speed, the bullet’s BC, your sight height, your zero and the weather. Always confirm your holds at the range before you hunt. With Pro, Check at distance lets you true the numbers from real hits.

ShotRecon Pro
All your rifles and loadouts. The hunting tools: pick your animal to see the energy it needs, how far is a clean shot, and where your shots land. Shot angle for uphill and downhill. Spin drift and wind jump. Check at distance (truing). And Loadout Lab (beta).
Pro Yearly: $19.99 a year. Lifetime Pro: $29.99 once. That is the launch price until December 31, 2026. Then it is $49.99. These are plans for the app, not for the device.
In the app. Open Settings, tap ShotRecon Pro and pick a plan. Apple or Google takes the payment. Pro follows your ShotRecon account, so it also works on this website when you sign in. We do not sell Pro on the website.
Apple or Google bills it, so you cancel it there. On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the year you paid for. If Pro ends, nothing you saved is deleted: you keep Free.
Sign in with the same ShotRecon account, on the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with. Then open Settings and tap Restore purchases, under ShotRecon Pro.
You can get a refund of Pro Yearly or Lifetime Pro if you ask within 30 days of the purchase. Apple or Google takes the payment, so you ask them: on iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Android in Google Play. After 30 days we do not give refunds, unless the law requires one. Cancelling Pro Yearly stops the next renewal.
Your account and data
Yes, for the app. A free ShotRecon account is required. Sign up with email, Apple (on iPhone) or Google. It backs up your gear, free. You can try the ballistics calculator on this website with an example rifle, with no account.
We do not sell or share your personal information. There are no ads in the app. We use your location only when you tap "Use my location", to get the weather, and we do not store it.
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account, at the bottom. Or delete it on the web at shotrecon.com/delete-account. Deleting your account does not cancel Pro Yearly, so cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first.
The ShotRecon device
A small device that watches your target and shows each new hole on your phone. Every new hole shows up the moment it lands, with your group size. It works on a used target and connects to your phone from 0 to 800 yards. It is a separate product from the app.
